about

Driving along I-40 about 50 miles West of Albuquerque on a starry, cloudless night. The occasional passing car. The glow from the radio partially illuminates a man's face and that of his passenger. She’s crying softly and not saying anything. She’s not saying anything because her mouth is sealed shut with two strips of silver duct tape. He sings softly to her. "Dry your eyes, dear, you're forever mine/We’ll just keep on driving, to the edge of time."
-W. Berlind

lyrics

This crazy world
Will drive you insane
It’s a troubled road
Filled with heartache and pain
But with you by my side
I’m careless and free
This crazy world
Is like heaven to me

Been dealt some bad hands
Maybe more than a few
But I been coming up aces
Since I fell for you
You’re my bright shinning pearl
You make loving all right
When this crazy world
Shuts its eyes for the night
My heart’s beating fast
My thoughts running wild
Believing you’d run out on me
My hands start to tremble
When I think about
How broken hearted I’d be

(solo)

So dry your eyes dear
You’re forever mine
We’ll just keep on driving
To the edge of time
In the middle of it all
I’ll keep you safe and sound
While this crazy world
Keeps spinning around
Spin around, you crazy world
(keep on spinning crazy world)...
